“The Bal Gandharva Ranga Mandir is owned by the Pune Municipal Corporation. Bal Gandharva Ranga Mandir is a theatre with an auditorium and an exhibition hall. It is one of the most sophisticated and well-equipped theatres of India. Late P.L. Deshpande, the renowned writer and humourist of Maharashtra, played an important role in the conception of this theatre.The theatre is centrally-located in the Sambhaji Park area of Pune. It is looked upon as the main cultural destination of the city. It is available for cultural, educational, social and religious activities, as well as corporate and business seminars.”
